The Robert Lawrence House of Opportunity Scholarship was created with the mission to bridge the economic gap that becomes a hindrance for equestrian students in obtaining higher education. The founder, Rob Jacobs, readily identifies with the importance of higher education and the cost challenges associated with this endeavor. Rob’s matriculation experience commenced at St. Andrews University in Laurinburg, NC.
Being met with these financial challenges, Rob was able to supplement his educational costs with family support, educational awards, employment grants and equestrian scholarships. These awards were vital in accomplishing his goal to obtain his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees without student loans.
